This blog was created by me, (Katie) a multi-instrumentalist college student, for the purpose of helping other flautists learn the notes to popular music. I'm sure, like me, other flautists get sick of working on technical music and sometimes just want to play one of their favorite songs and don't want to have to pay for the sheet music. This blog is just the place for that!
All notes on this site are pieced together from sheet music I find online as well as transcribing from the song's audio. I will be posting as I find free time and inspiration to transcribe music.
I post songs that I would like the notes to, but if you would like the notes to a specific song, let me know in the "Request a Song" tab and I will try my best to transcribe it for you. Unfortunately, I cannot write sheet music so I will only be posting notes in the form of letters above the lyrics to each song.
